I watched but I'm trying to stay calm because it's infuriating.

The only reason why the Sharks are still in any league as a contender is because they got sporadic pieces of brilliant attack play.

They have absolutely no defence and the players have zero situational awareness on defense. They keep on rushing and fail creating huge gaps on the edges and it just keeps happening the entire game, game after game.

I don't understand how no one sees it from a player's perspective and coaching as they watch the game from the coaching box.

I don't understand.

I know there's going to be speculation over who will be the head coach of the Boks.

I'm more concerned who will coach defense.

Bulls struggled when theirs left. So too the Sharks.

Not many options. Norman Laker or Joey Mongalo are the only ones with some success locally as defense coaches.

There's also that Ferreira guy who was with the Lions under Ackerman and Swys and they too deteriorated when he left.

Not sure where he is lately?

Yes last nights defense by the Sharks was really poor. No where actually.

The amount of money we are going to have to spend to get a coach from outside I doubt that will happen. Let's see how this story develops.
 
15 points up against 13 guys with 20 minutes to go and the Lions loose it. Clinical from Leinster... I think Ireland are favourites for this years world cup
 
Looks like there will be 4 x Irish teams in the playoffs and those are the only 4 teams they have. Sigh.

Yeah they have serious depth, can't remember when last I saw a team look so strong after 70 minutes at altitude in Jhb.

It's embarrassing. I will hang my head in shame if I was a Lions player. These young boys from Ireland with their 10 that just turned 20 years old never played in SA before come to Ellis park to win against the Lions team that were up what was it 36 - 24 and 2 yellow cards at the same time.

No man. Ivan must go. I'm furious. It would have been better if a full-strength Leinster smashed them. Imagine how Leinster can come to SA with a B team and still win and they go with full strength team to compete in the HCC also.

Yeah what else is there to say?

Everyone in URC can come to SA and win our teams but we can't travel to Europe and win games there. Very disappointing. We are just not good enough. We can say dept an all that but today was a strong Stormers team bar the missing Deon Fourie and a relatively strong Munster side. Leinster came with a B side and won against a strong Lions team and Munster came and won against the Stormers at home on a pitch that is horrible to play on.

I don't think it's about dept at all I just don't think we are good enough it's as simple as that.

Stormers will end up being 3rd and having to have to travel to Ireland to play Leinster is it there is NO chance of them making it out of the 1/4.
 
Yeah was shite.

We will be better for it in the long run.

Feels like NZ all over again, coming here and beating us at home woth their teams. Ireland are ahead of us.

Not sure we will ever reach that level. We can't do central contracting due to economy etc.

Gotta make do with what we have, which is not enough to compete on three fronts simultaneously while some of our best locks play overseas.
