We have mastered the dark arts of contact within the rules of the game of rugby and we've implemented them into a successful game plan.

Reference to how our fwds are trained and kept fit for the attritional grappling and wrestling that rugby demands... like i said, other teams need to get better... most of them do so by recruiting Polynesians.

Anyone into MMA will agree that building this cardiovascular capacity from a young age along with daily practice is key to performing match time. in addition, all of wrestling's basic training adds to other areas of explosiveness e.g take off from standstill, running etc. as it emphasizes fundamentals of a strong base.

Our defensive system (the best in the world) remains and we've now added on dynamic attack play to supplement it.

Watch the moaners moan now that we have upped the ante to an atomic bomb squad

When other teams play to their strengths in terms of skill then its "innovation"
When we do it its " not good for the game"

That being said, its not as simple as just crashballing and bashing... our forwards are trained in some serious wrestling skills.

We have mastered the dark arts of contact within the rules of the game of rugby and we've implemented them into a successful game plan.

You wanna run it and find gaps.. all good... pick 6 backs if you like, nothing stopping you.

Same thing in cricket when Steve Waugh penned " the spirit of cricket"

Who the heck are you to tell us how to play the game when the rules have been established by an independent body

Nothing more than hypocrisy and copium from those who cant eat it but love to dish it up
People should relax and not take comments from a few bad loser so seriously. SA has just as many bad supporters that talk shít after games.

We played beautifully on Friday night. I've never seen the Boks play like this, never mind against the ABs. Libbok was lovely both with fieldwork and kicking. Ref didn't **** around. Everyone played extremely well. Moodie went better on 13 than expected.

This video was already posted in the thread, but I just wanted to touch on it. I couldn't watch past 4:35. I love how the NZ panel came up with "reasonable explanations" for Barrett going on Marx.
Nah, he went against the shoulder, wah wah wah.
The oke's head wobbled around like jelly after Barrett hit him. Sure, on its own it wasn't red, but it sure as hell was yellow, which of course led to the red anyway.

Seems like NZ just can't accept that we memed them this time as they did to us with the famous 57 - 0 incident.

Kicking coach helped Manie.

you gotta love a name like, Swys...on par or even better than Kwagga
The commentary from the Welsh on WalesOnline is hilarious. Here are a few.

Very impressive performance by SA, not sure being able to bring on 7 forward replacements is good for the game as a whole ?

I feel that 7 forward replacements at one time must be absolutely daunting for the opposition, especially the quality of South African forwards. Moreover, dangerous to the opposition plays who are fatigued and and more susceptible to injury.

Is it gonna ruin the game though the opposition will start doing soon ,it will end up 23 forwards v 23 forwards ?

Incredible performance from the Boks. Surely world rugby needs to stop them having 7 forwards on the bench.

Oh god the whole rugby world can do without the Boks winning another world cup.
salty,....love it

Scott Barrett has escaped any further sanction after Friday's red card and is available for selection.

Well, I tip the All Blacks to beat France.
oh yes indeed. an allblacks team after a loss is the stuff of nightmares.

at the same time, we have been bad after a big (in the media) win.

Lets be straight about a few things.
Yes we did smash the ABs, but we also have lots of room for improvement, especially where our finishing is concerned.

theres still lotsa work to do, and this result shouldnt hide that.

Y'all don't understand.

When the Poms do it they're re-inventing the game, Wallabies do it its innovation, All Blacks' creativity, French flair .. Springboks? Its called cheating, bringing the game into disrepute, bordeline illegal... bad for the game.

Everywhere. People are saying we are abusing the bench and world rugby needs to take action.

Imagine you are so scared of losing that you ask for the rules of the game to be changed to make it easier for you to win. It's crazy and I don't understand how so many people agree on this view. It's esentially moving the goal posts...
