We let a victory at the end there slip through our fingers to be honest.

It's by 1 point yes but not that goes into the history books as the last time we lost against Ireland etc so it's not a nice feeling

Absolute sucker punch at the end there. Pretty poor from Kolbe to try milk the pen. But thought Ireland got away with a lot. The breakdown was a mess as usual. Doris lucky to be on the pitch. We steamrolled them in the second half and they got the smash and grab. But damage done in the first half. Wish there was a third test!

Ireland played well, but I can't congratulate a consistently dirty team. Should have been handed 3 red cards in the first 5 mins of the match. Hope they're happy with their narrow win by deliberately injuring our players. Ref needs to go to Specsavers.

Pity we only drew the series... but we have nothing to be ashamed about, don't forget Ireland are ranked #2 and it was never going to be an easy win.

Credit where credit is due, Ireland kept in the game in spite of the number of penalties they conceded and Pollard slotted, big hats off to those 2 drop goals, they ultimately cost us the game, the last was perfect positioning and timing and sealed Ireland's deserved win.

Edit: The number of Springbok forwards head injuries at the beginning was concerning though, I'm sure that might be looked into by Rassie's team because there could be more behind that... just sayin

#1 team at home, could seal the deal….

Well.... We know what it feels like to win by 1 point as well. Just fair that we share the experience.
