Agreed not sure how much time you have to take a penalty 60 seconds ? Will be interesting to hear from the experts afterwards.. I would be fuming if it was the Boks but stupid Aussies probably threw away our chance to win the Rugby Championship now

And the ball is only in play once he kicks it, where was he going to kick it
Ref stopped the clock with 45s to go, told him once he blows the whistle he needs to take the penalty he will start the clock
Whistle blew and he took time waiting to play the ball
