I don't think we should be proud of anything here.

Lost the Freedom Cup to NZL
Lost the Mandela Shield to AUS
Lost the Rugby Championship trophy to NZL

What exactly did we achieve? Very poor overall if you take into account the silverware lost.

We are still world champions. We are ranked above all the sides in this competition and oz is ranked p9

For now. Let's hope we can retain it next year because it doesn't matter if we win matches here and there but can't win the silverware.

Arguably the key player at flyhalf was a complete disaster. The backline was nowhere tonight.

When we have to play our 4th choice player and he has a shocker, then a win is a win

Yeah agree 100%. I didn't know Jessie Kriel was even on the field until I saw him giving away a penalty at the end there.
 
Still shocked at the Eben yellow card. Absolutely horrendous decision. Hopefully it gets taken off his record but I wouldn't hold my breath... it feels like 90% of international rugby games are marred by shite refereeing. This is elite sport but you see nothing being done to improve officiating or any consequences for referees.

If only Australia didn't completely bend over for New Zealand this morning, we probably could have won it. Oh well. Autumn Internationals up next, and there are some tasty games coming up! Luckily I managed to get tickets to the Ireland game in Dublin - probably a Bok loss incoming :X3:

Our rugby is pretty poor overall, with spells of brilliance.

We rely so heavily on driving maul tries, the rest of our game has completely devolved.

Yes didn't even watch the game. You can't at international level introduce a new player who played flyhalf since 2008 14 years ago and even then flyhalf was not his position. Then have another player Faf on the bench for him as cover who also doesn't play flyhalf.

Blame Elton Jantjies penis and refusing to pay his guest house bills for the owner to rat him out.

They coach stated he had to protect Elton to protect his mental health and didn't select him for that reason. What BS.

Either bring a specialist flyhalf into the squad, but to put a crap player on mental break and then select a prop at flyhalf who once played flyhalf in 2008 the last time. You are disrespecting Argentina and the fans.
 
I really hope the soccer World Cup refs are not going to be on this level.

The number of clearly wrong decisions, by clearly sub-standard refs has tainted this season. And that's against all teams, not just ours.
