We didn't take a penalty to goal once that I can remember. We dominated but I can't recall our outside center Kriel ever getting passed the ball which shows how much we rely on kicks rather than use the backline.

Willemse also struggled IMO, tough ask from him and he did ok - but wasn't great

Yeah Willemse's kicks weren't good but he still got man of the match. It shows if your forwards dominate it makes the backs look good.
 
The game wasn't pretty. In fact I think the boks could have put Australia away properly just like what New Zealand did to Argentina but at least it's a win that is what counts
 
Faf's yellow card of last week is even more ridiculous when you take into account that #3 gold intentionally smashed into Damian de Allende's head with his shoulder and it was deemed to be worthy of only a penalty.

So accidentally brushing fingers against Nic White's cheek is seen as a higher risk of injury and intent than a 110kg prop shoulder smashing into the head of De Allende.
 
That guy should have put Eben to bed. Could have dropped him there on the spot. Well done to the Ausie for keeping his cool and not knocking Eben the f**k out.
