I know its the Qatar Airways Cup .. and we are the reigning champions, but would have been good to have a fixture at the Millenium stadium which is widely regarded as the best rugby stadium in the Northern Hemisphere if not the world.

It is a "home" game for us though. We could have played it in SA.

Yeah, spectacularly poor from the team white/blue indeed, agree 100% :whistling:

No question that the other team was totally caught napping. But good damn rugby from the guy to pick up on that and take the risk, 99.9999% of other players would have dotted that ball down to break play.

I am risking divorce and bankruptcy and doing a full on rugby tour this year.
Already got tickets for the Ireland Loftus game, then gonna do a trip down to Durbs for the next Ireland game before a quick Bloem getaway. Will then do one of the New Zealand games, probably JHB side.
I figure this year, being back to back world champs, it doesn't really matter the results, it's basically an appreciation tour. I mean I'd play the youngsters, throw in Fassie what have you, let's experiment a bit. But yeah looking forward to it all.

I also see they want to bring back the tours to New Zealand where you play 3 tests plus midweek county teams.

Teams for the Loftus clash

Bulls: 15 Devon Williams, 14 Kurt-Lee Arendse, 13 Stedman Gans, 12 David Kriel, 11 Canan Moodie, 10 Johan Goosen, 9 Embrose Papier, 8 Marcell Coetzee (captain), 7 Rienhardt Ludwig, 6 Marco van Staden, 5 Ruan Nortjé (captain), 4 Ruan Vermaak, 3 Wilco Louw, 2 Johan Grobbelaar, 1 Gerhard Steenekamp.

Replacements: 16. Simphiwe Matanzima, 17. Akker van der Merwe, 18. Francois Kloppers, 19. JF van Heerden, 20. Nizaam Carr, 21. Zak Burger, 22. Willie Le Roux, 23. Mpilo Gumede

Stormers: 15 Warrick Gelant, 14 Ben Loader, 13 Dan du Plessis, 12 Damian Willemse, 11 Leolin Zas, 10 Manie Libbok, 9 Herschel Jantjies, 8 Hacjivah Dayimani, 7 Evan Roos, 6 Deon Fourie (captain), 5 Ruben van Heerden, 4 Adre Smith, 3 Neethling Fouche, 2 Joseph Dweba, 1 Sti Sithole.

Replacements: 16 Andre-Hugo Venter, 17 Brok Harris, 18 Sazi Sandi, 19 Salmaan Moerat, 20 Ben-Jason Dixon, 21 Marcel Theunissen, 22 Paul de Wet, 23 Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu.

Frans Malherbe not picked for the Stormers and not sure why. Dobbo maybe thinking he's not yet ready. Otherwise, two full strength teams going hammer and tongs at each other. Heart says Stormers, but head says Bulls finally to break that losing streak.

You simply can not stand by a team if they play like this...

Sharks are the worst team in the URC. Very shocking.

Have a laugh people because the Antipodeans are starting to wake up!

I actually watchdd the game being referred to in both videos.

And

What you mean starting to wakeup? Referring to the guys behind the two youtube channels in question or the idjit highlighted or someone else? And wake up about what?

Good wins for the Bulls and Lions. Wtf is happening with the Sharks????
Its just the continued collapse that's been in motion for a decade now. Jobs for pals nonsense in management along with decades worth of failure to develop locally, choosing to instead just buy, buy, buy coming home to roost.

They are waking up to how incredibly condescending some of the NZ & AUS scribes can be, believing their free-flowing way of playing rugby is the only way the game should be played.
