Wow ok then we totally dominated. Wanted to take a 20 point handicap on beltway but thought we would just win. Odds was 4.5 last week and 2.6 this week so clearly bookies knew we would come hard. Stil cant believe Willemse was so poor at full back a few weeks ago and now he totally dominates at 12 which is probably his best position. Definitely prefer the 5 3 split with some players that can play multiple positions.
 
You would hope attack would fire with front foot ball like that.

Libbok wasnt the difference and many times, like that Willemse try, Libbok was making mistakes, team were just firing around him so wel it didnt matter.

No doubt on Libboks talent, flare, its his mental game that is sorely lacking and still very much is. He doesn't make the difference he just 'wins more' when team around him already firing and goes missing like countless times now when they need them.

Yes he hit his kicks this game, but thats his usual, gets the try conversions, its his penalty kicks where he is abysmal which, when its a close game you need to convert pressure into points, etc, he misses.

Man just like Elton Jantjies was. When its an open game, team firing, he looks good, but when its tight, teams needs a general to make the difference, soak up the pressure, he goes missing.
 
I got that feeling that the game shifted the moment the ref penalized them early for closing the gap in the lineout.
I was almost if they knew the ref studied all their illegal plays.

Fassie injury was the saving grace. Willemse going to Fullback where desperately needed changed the entire dynamic of the backline showing the need for a proper fullback and the gaping hole it has left in the backline all season until now.
