Pit latrines and lack of access to clean water at schools is a national outrage

There are 380 schools in South Africa with no water. There are a further 3,392 schools that still use pit latrines, affecting 34,489 teachers and 1,042,698 learners.

Even the Steenbras dam has been there since 1979- so the DA cant really take credit for putting into measures the infrastructure to protect Cape Townians from load-shedding.

I don't know how dishonest people can be, the Western Cape has always been at a much higher level infrastructure wise than any other province, there was no black people homeland in the Western Cape, unlike the other provinces that are struggling with that legacy, that's why the further away you move from the metros, the more pit latrines schools you get.

Of course, I am sure it's totally understandable to look down in disgust on the guy who had over 3000 pit toilets after you are done eradicating your 15, eradication is eradication.

But the DA doubled the number of Ventilated Improved Pit latrine (VIP) pit latrine toilets!

It looks exactly like a pit latrine and no it isnt for VIPs!

Just sneaky word play and DA propaganda in the end.
 
A ventilated pit latrine is essentially a pit latrine toilet so I call b*lls*&t on the statement that pit latrines have been eradicated in the Western Cape.
