A vote for the IFP is a vote for the DA and a vote for the DA is a vote for the IFP depending on where you are.Just vote DA.

Just vote DA.
The big problem is, if it isn't sorted out quickly it could lead to a constitutional crisis and could **** with 2024 elections...I am honestly surprised by this in some ways, and totally not surprised in others.
Cyril continues to be fscking useless. FFS you useless twat, make a gawddamn decision for ONCE in your life Cyril you tit.
Not great but both better than the ANC or EFFA vote for the IFP is a vote for the DA and a vote for the DA is a vote for the IFP depending on where you are.
How many years have you been an opposition-led province Winde? How many years have we had an Eskom problem? Always reactionary and never proactive.![]()

There is no IFP if you vote DA.A vote for the IFP is a vote for the DA and a vote for the DA is a vote for the IFP depending on where you are.

The whole chain of process for the appointment of the board was delayed, all the way from Parliament, there was a mess with Parliament on the vetting of the candidates and the are still issues with some of the names forwarded to the President, the process cannot be delayed in the other stages and all of a sudden the President must be compliant on the time frames.
Agree with Euseless here.
When it came to Zuma, people lose it.
When it comes to Rama (not as badly as a few years ago but still), we get tons of reasonable explanations like "What if RET?".

Seeing that he has already been taken to court it's hardly him getting a free pass.
Somewhere around January iirc. How long has Cyril had the list of names on his desk?
Ignore all the other delays, focus purely on the one that matters in this instance.
Somewhere around January iirc.
Yes, see the edited post.Try the 6th of December: https://www.businesslive.co.za/bd/n...ent-approves-the-12-names-for-new-sabc-board/
Ok, add a week for parliament being fscking useless as "process" of officially getting the names to him
Yes, see the edited post.
Look I don't think it's a good thing, but it's also not a good thing to just appoint the board for the sake of it if there are issues around some of the names or processes. The President does not just rubber stamp Parliament's names, he still has to do due consideration, in the process of that there will be other issues that comes up that needs to be attended to as it seems to be the case now.
Taking the Presidency to court is not going to magically expedite the process, it is in fact going to delay it even more.
Exactly and it's worrying. Then the conspiracy theory question does get raised of whether the dicking around and being a fscking useless twat is not intentional in this instance.
You win some and you lose some, lovely.
But this was historical and a win for the real democracy. It marks end of the beginning and beginning of the end and end of the beginning's end.You win some and you lose some, lovely.
