We can't have such a miserable turnout in a DA stronghold like Edgemead. Although it's probably not turnout that is the problem but the IEC as Dawie hints.

Dawie has a very early estimate of 60% turnout, which is the main turnout scenario SRF were punting. If that is true, good for the DA and bad news for the ANC.

I think it's more to do with his age than anything.
