The SA Politics Thread Part 6

They will celebrate their campaign either way as they have made gains compared to what they were.

Post election, there is going to be an onslaught on them from the Blue Machine strategic and PR team so that is a battle that they need to prepare for.

The DA effectively nullified the PA threat, and now Gayton's grand claims pre-election sound all rather idiotic. Even taking into account the usual spin of a politician, his boisterous personality is going to mean many people are going to take pleasure in his downfall, as his primary aim was to remove the DA from power in the WC. He barely moved the needle because the DA intelligently identified other voters to make up for the partial loss of rural coloureds in the WC.

Don't listen to all those guys lying to you, the President has never been chosen by the ANC, he has always been chosen by the members of parliament, whoever has the most MPs always gets the President.

You know that’s exactly to what was said? Right?

He wasnt being literal. Politicians always give exaggerated numbers to show confidence. He definitely knew he was not really taking the WC.

Im pretty sure DA have also done this in the past. Most parties set targets they wont actually get but do it to show confidence and raise energy of their supporters.

PA votes going to rapidly run out of stream. NC about 25% more VDs to count in entire province.

Swellendam, Cederberg, Oudshoorn, Prince Albert, Beaufort West - all rural WC munis --> finished counting.
Where? N24 doesn't show Oudtshoorn as complete?
I guess Knysna and George are fairly big, so they have that to look forward to.
George and Drakenstein (Paarl/Wellington) is the second biggest behind CPT in WC. 300k people living there each.

Oops, my mistake. Nearly complete (on 86%).

George and Drakenstein (Paarl/Wellington) is the second biggest behind CPT in WC. 300k people living there each.

Indeed, but I think in this case (I may be wrong) that in George, the PA will affect the ANC more than the DA. Seems like that sort of place.

The battle for WC will be won in George/CPT/Drakenstein. And so far DA is coming in clutch in these areas.

One thing is for sure.

There are going to be a lot of bingo cards with blue balls by the end of this.

My advice is, get your coalition bingo cards ready. It's going to be wild.

11 party coalition in Gauteng?
ANC+IFP+DA coalition in KZN?

In this game of bingo, the most outrageous prediction that comes true is the winner.

My bingo cards say all 200 parties work together to kick the ANC nationally. You did say the most outrageous prediction
