In that case the only GNU is an ANC/EFF/MK government because us minorities are insignificant.

GNU 2 is essentially a replay of that, except this time we have the DA instead of NP and ANC can't call the shots like last time.

A bit more than DA and IFP. It would also be EFF, PA and anyone over a certain threshold. Possibly even MK if they're willing...

Sure, I'm referring to the concept. The ANC wants to use it to hedge their bets to prevent the coalition collapsing.

The EFF doesn't want it, and the DA won't work with the EFF anyway. So they need to choose one...
