Its just more evidence that Twitter is totally not representative of reality. One would think the elections have shown this, but maybe people are just too stupid to see very clear examples.

Twitter probably consists mostly of troll farms these days with a few news sources.

The vast majority of South Africans do not participate in twitter - it is not a yardstick for measuring South African sentiment about anything.
