I do not disagree that the populist threat needs to be dealt with, but I think there may be a misunderstanding of the impact of handing over a province to the populist threat to the rest of the countries economy.
KZN would mean MK literally has the ANC/GNU/SA Government by the short and curlys in many ways and that cannot be allowed.

We'll figure it out. Fortunately the ports are national key points, and the logistics around them also falls within national government.

Jacob can try his kak, but he will be dealt with if he interferes with anything outside the provincial mandate...

Agreed to a large degree... but it gives some context to why the national lot aren't just going "Fsck it, fine have KZN"

The ANC won this province in the first democratic elections - they then proceeded (in the days before rampant corruption), to fck things up so thoroughly that people (rightly), tossed them out and they haven't had a sniff since.

Ports and roads and rail are under the authority of National Government not Provincial though - it's why they (Ports and Rail) are still largely fcked in Cape Town

Yeah I know, but do not underestimate the level of shyte MK would try if they got into power in KZN. It would be outside of their remit, but that wouldn't stop them fscking everything up insanely.
