Why do people always compare this type of behaviour to the likes of Julius? The EFF performed badly in the election because majority of South Africans are not buying what Julius is selling. When you are in a situation where you need to justify your behaviour by comparing yourself to Julius, you must know you've already messed up.
You forget this was 15 years ago. We are living in the past.

Yeah of all the crimes he could have committed he did that one. Coulda been a much better criminal and rather murdered someone or stole billions. He would have only sat for a bit, if at all, and his career/future wouldn't have been over instantly.

There is still plenty of time for him to murder and steal billions, he can even do that while on suspension to greatly enhance his career and future.

But why use slurs in the "hypothetical" scenario he painted when the offending song doesn't? He had ulterior motives in my opinion.
Shock value.

It appears that many here are still not getting the time factor here. You can't argue current political milieu and public opinion with something this dated. It was normal 200 years ago for women to very little rights. It wasn't right and that is why it changed. The same applies here. We have moved on as society since 2010, which is why Julius is becoming more and more irrelevant.

As per my edit, that would be conjecture. But yes, entirely possible he did have bad intent. Just not provable.
That's where DA uses own discretion, with the bigger picture in mind.

The dumbass made his own bed yeah.Should know that in this country saying certain things is enough to rile up the whole country. Okes probably sat on those vids for a while and waited for a moment like this as another derailment of what should be an exciting time for this country. Besides if he has so much hate maybe he has stolen or murdered already.

Shock value.
Stupid when you don't have a PR team and truckloads of money.

because the point was to make you feel like how white people feel when they sing about murdering us. This is not high IQ stuff.
So he couldn't just say "kill the black person" or "Kill the Tswana"?

Signed contracts don't apply to the ANC or the PA (when they signed the Jhb coalition contract) because of double standards.

What double standard do you keep referring to? Is it the word of the day?

On the one hand the ANC are trying to push things as far as they can in terms of what they believe the contract to stipulate which is the same as the DA are doing. On the other hand the DA are simply being petty regarding the PA.

The PA is such a small party and making a stink of not being consulted about their inclusion is hardly worth the effort. There is no upside for the DA in this battle.

Man South Africans love a witch hunt though. More so if it's a pale witch. Zille, Cameron, the whole DA is now guilty by association. Propaganda is always disappointing. It feels to me like most South Africans love it when a story like this happens. Like a high.
