A possibility is that if ANC gets 45%, they may go into coalition with PA and Uncle Gayton may become a minister. If PA gets 3%, it's on the cards. Gayton looks like he is a skilled negotiator so you can be sure that he will demand something significant in order to go into coalition.

Then, GLM can use Al Jamaah+ a few other smaller alliance partner parties to make up the deficit.

At this point there are lots of permutations that could happen based off the current polling...

We should all be very scared if someone like Gayton gets a powerful Cabinet position, he will fsck it over in short order.

I hate election time. Every single politician comes out of the woodwork with promises, scraping old paint off of pit toilets, new wheelchair here, title deed there, school over on that side but come 2 June these motherfuckers are all gone and we are yet again left with old chicken, loadshedding and crumbs.

He's a commentator, Shaunie. He has views that span a wide range and capable of reevaluating his position based on current (not historical) info. Less tl;dr and more work for you.

Ramaphosa made big/bold promises and after 8/9 years of Zuma letting the Guptas run things it seemed like a welcome change. Ramapuaser unfortunately turned out to be another ANC ideologue.
