The Samsung 51E550 plasma a lemon?

I need to buy a new 50" plasma and was set on the Samsung 51E550. But now I heard on this forum (as well as an other international forum) that there seems to be judder motion issues on some content. Can someone that know this set and the issue please comment.

I'm very sensitive to judder in panning scenes. Is this an issue only on the 51E550, or also 60E550. If so, what other plasma models should I look at. I already own a 50B430 and 43E450, which dont have this issue.

Best is to go see it for yourself in-store, but note it is content dependent (slow frame rate 1080i/p). To truly see the difference try comparing side-by-side with something like 100Hz+ LED.

Unfortunately Samsung SA only have one plasma model above the E550s, the 64" E8000. To get a smaller mid-range plasma, you'd need to look for something like a Panasonic ST50, if you can find locally?

Well my sister just got the ps60e550 and it runs like a beast... 3d content, full hd, all played perfectly. All content was running of a 2.5" 1tb hard drive plugged straight into the TV. For R18900 it was a real bargain.
