Use XP to flash - I use VMWARE on a Win7 machine - Laptop is best - Good luck.
Have changed to ock's Ultralite - then installed most of my apps to My Storage - Phone runs very fast then added gChris's titanium plug = Excellent!
Only problem is that M2D v2 dont list the missed calls and sms messages on the Home screen, which for me is a problem.
Why did you change from Pdhee?
I installed PDhee_i900Omnia_23544.5.5.0_M2Dv2_beta1 2 days ago. Good, fast rom. M2D working better for me then Titanium. No problems so far. Got the weather app working as well for Pretoria. Only problem is that M2D v2 dont list the missed calls and sms messages on the Home screen, which for me is a problem.
Can we download the PC studio software for windows 7 anywhere?
Have you tried Kies_1.1.5.9114 from the Samsung Apps site - It's a bit slowish but it's the only i900 Suite I've seen - You can find it here http://www.samsungapps.com/about/onPc.as

Is it just me or is there nothing there anymore? I load that link via Chrome and IE8 and I see nothing to download. Recently lost about 200 contacts off my phone when I did a normal Windows 7 sync after deleting the other "partnerships" that were setup on the phone.
