so that the police can have a monopoly on gun laws? I do not trust our local police to protect us, let alone our state to 'regulate' our guns.
and as I pointed out earlier, stricter gunlaws elsewhere did not stop these situations from occurring.
here is a lost of these worse massacures by an individual.
1) In July 2011, Anders Behring Breivik of Norway shot and killed 77 people, wounding 151. - there were strict gun laws
2) In April 1982, gunman Woo Bum-Kon of South Korea killed 57 and left 35 people wounded. He committed suicide at the scene. - once again strict gun laws
3)In April 1996, Martin Bryant shot to death 35 victims and wounded 21 others. - strict gun laws in Australia
4) In April 2007, Seung-Hui Cho of USA killed 32 people and wounded 25. Cho also committed suicide at the scene. - no gun laws
5) In Dec 986, Campo Elias Delgado of Colombia killed 30 and wounded 15 others. - no gun laws

as you can see, the absinthe or presence of gun laws, do absolutely nothing in stopping lunatics from killing people. What it does do however is disarm the public and everyone has a right to defend himself.
