Hey. How does the weapons etc work? U get sp like in EvE? On that note, can you steal, rob and kill other people as in eve? Can u scam, make your own adventures as in EvE? Basically, is this a non spaceship version of EvE? lol

You choose whichever weapon you think you'll enjoy most. There are no classes in the game. You can equip anything.

Then you allocate skill points to that weapon "class" .. you can specialise in 1 weapon, or be a jack of all trades and spend skill points on any weapon type you enjoy and carry all of them.

Quite a few people walk around with assault rifles & blades. I'm pushing all my points into blades though. An absolute AoE machine. When it's maxed, I'll consider points in one of the magikas.

I'm enjoying this game immensely. Did a dungeon "polaris" yesterday and scored myself a nice blue blade.

Nope, not a sandbox, it is a semi-on the rails MMO, themepark through and through. If you want sandbox, try out Darkfall, it is fully a fantasy Eve, complete with ganking, robbing and scamming with swords and magic.
