So been playing for about 3 days now, and all i can say is it is really awesome, i knew nothing about this game until the day before release so started reading some previews on the game, i seemed a but skeptical of it in the beginning, but let me just say that this game is way better than what i thought it would be, and much better than what the reviews have to say about it, i would say if you enjoy WoW you would probably enjoy this alot, it is not exactly the same as WoW, but you will see alot of WoW elements implemented in the game itself making learning the game alot easier but there is also alot of new things in the game making this game a step above other mmo's i would say, don't let reviews get you down when they say there is no leveling system or classes, there is it just works differently, i think on paper everthing about the Secret World sounds weird and you just gonna be like wtf how can this work, but once you get started the game is really awesome and you just start to see how things "just work". Yes there are a few things that do bug me about the game but nothing major, nothing like a game killer. I am running on a 384 line and i must say it feels much better compare to WoW, latency wise, so far I am pretty sure that i will be paying a subscription monthly as i feel they deserve it, also the questing is so much fun, yes there is alot of generic quests, kill 5 of those etc. but the ones were you got to figure things out is just simply amazing.

I only intended on a short post, but as soon as I started typing i jut thought of so many good things to say about this game, and could probably go on:/

I have not tried it yet but have looked at some gameplay trailers and tbh the combat seems very stiff and clunky, graphics look good. Guess i will have to try it out at some point just been so many bad or wow clone type MMO that I am very sceptical when it comes to MMO

I agree the combat is a bit stiff, but when you think of WoW all it really is, is big flashy llights that shoot from your hand, but i mean i think these are things that will be worked on in the upcoming patches.

Not to burst your bubble but the combat is as good as it is going to get, Age of conan and Anarchy Online both had the same issues and to this day its not fixed.

Well tbh it really doesn't bother me that the combat isn't all that flashy, i was just saying. This isn't a game to be rushed and think the game only gets good at the end, say like WoW, most of us just rush it to level 85 just so we can raid etc. and majority of the time i couldn't care for the story, where as with TSW the quests and lore is just what captivated me mostly, its pretty much the only game where i've felt im enjoying every quest and felt like they had meaning, WoW for example was so repetive quest wise, they never really tried changing things up, this is just my own opinion, I am not out here to argue the TSW is better, in the end it is all personal preference, and i think TSW is an rpg i've always been waiting for, i was never into the whole fantasy, elves etc. stuff, but always just enjoyed the gameplay of rpgs, with TSW i feel i get both now and why i am enjoying it so much

Anyone else playing TSW? I started last night and played a bit this morning (one good thing about a sick day, but too bad the servers are down till about 3PM) and so far I'm enjoying it a lot, because it's something different mostly. Though it's a little confusing on how to start out with your abilities to not pick something stupid if you don't read up a bit first. I've found myself spending my first AP and SP points in a stupid direction. Spending the server downtime to read up a bit to fix my mistakes. But apart from that it's quite good so far. Love the lore and the effort put into making it something different. The "floaty" feel of the animation is a bit annoying, but that's a problem that I feel most MMO's have except 1 or 2. So I'll definitely play out the free month and decide if a sub is worth it at the end.

I have not yet encountered any server issues with this game just yet, i think even if i did I woulda been like w/e because of all the s*** D3 gave with us with all their servers where, we just ended up getting used to it and accpeting it, where now its like everything is so fluent, i did encounter a bug with one quest, and that got fixed with a patch within 24 hours,so they atleast listen to their customers.

As for the skill tree, i think it looks very confusing at first, but if you have played WoW you will understand the mechanics on what spells to take where, like tank/healer/dps, but still enjoying this game alot, spent about an hour just on quest last night.
