I love my 802.11n network...it's so much faster than g ever was...

g still works for me..But n sounds usefull, and will switch over eventually I suppose

Why is it taking so long to get the standard certified? The IEEE guys are almost as slow as Telkom where the upgrade of ADSL speed is concerned.

Difference is of course that ADSL2+ has long been certified and implemented by the rest of the world.

n Sounds promising. Would love to be able to use my wireless at speeds better than my current lan. Don't use the lan, since wires suck. But copying at that speed...Mmm mmm!

VoIP on .n standard?

How is the quality of VoIP on pre-.n standard - is there quality degradation with many high end users?

no..I use my e51 as a SIP (voip) phone in my office over 802.11g..and it works quite fine, I skype over my notebook at home or at office (with video)

but u are reffering to high end users...what do you mean? Using the wireless as a backbone? We are also currently doing that over g at work as in where an off site building is linked and they are able to use their phones with little or no problem ( but only 6 users sit at this office)
