As some of you might be aware there is this problem of short duration power outages in and surrounding Little Falls, Honeydew, Randpark Ridge, Weltevreden Park and potentially some others.
There was an outage lasting 10 minutes on Friday afternoon...
I was monitoring the power yesterday when I became aware of two short depressions on the mains approximately around 2PM.
It seems that, what happens is some form of load, or grid is being switched in that depresses the mains voltage, and most of the time, causes the short outage. Yesterday there was no outage, but it did upset all my UPS units and on the 'scope I saw that, for approximately 10 cycles the voltage was depressed down to 180 volts. It is barely perceptible on fluorescent lighting.
There were no ripple signals being sent during this time.
