The Sims 4 - Pre Download

Anyone else struggling to download The Sims 4?

I have to resume the download multiple times, keeps dropping connection or something, maybe EA servers are over loaded..... I figure the download will be corrupted when it completes.

Wish origin worked as smoothly as battlenet.

I am sure the wife does not care about the bugs \ glitches.

Personally i dislike EA, i always seem to have some sort of problem with there software \ framework.

Heh. I downloaded the 'test' version off the bay of pirates and it's just as I expected. Limited customization in character creation, so that they can more than likely make millions of DLC again. Not even a single good hairstyle out of the bunch.

Tell your wife to continue playing Sims 3 and then just pirate her all the DLC in a year.

Bottom Line: The Sims 4 is basically The Sims 3, but shrunken and sterile. While some tweaks and enhancements are nice, none of them can offset the overall lack of engagement provided, and the looming promise of DLC is no compromise.

Recommendation: The Sims 3.

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'm clueless with this stuff... :wtf: Can someone tell me if my graphics card is better than the minimum requirements for sims 4? I have an Nvidia Geforce GT 555 M and the minimum requirements says Nvidia Geforce 6600.

I was rocking a Geforce 6600 way back in 2005, so I'm pretty sure you're fine.
