Ok, I do smoke and like to know if there is anything to "repair" the burn marks on the inside of the care where you open the window to flick the ash out? :o

It's people who flick cigarettes out of car windows that cause veld and forest fires.

You know its called ASH right? ;)

i don't give a flying **** either, but rather use your ashtray, than risk starting fires that could potentially kill ppl and tax our already thinly stretched fire dept.

Well it's an Audi A6.

Which one? If it's like mine, then that part where it says airbag is leather, you may be able to remove that panel without deploying the airbag and then use of those leather repair kits with the color match... I've fixed a leather sofa with one of those kits before, and I must say, not bad...

Listen man, you can put a cigarette in the middle of a big pile of dry grass and sticks, blow your lungs out and you'll be lucky if you get it to ignite. Those forest fires, etc are not started by cigarettes.

you can even throw a lit ciggie into a puddle of petrol and it won't ignite - but folks, do not try at home....just incase.

So if the wind is blowing, it can't cause the same effect as a person blowing? How about the wind created by a bunch of cars driving by? Yes, it can happen.

Either way, put it out in the tray, don't litter all over the place :p

Well they sure aren't started by wild animals. Unless animals have learned to start fires by rubbing two sticks together.
