The South Park Thread

They should've won an Emmy within their first 6 seasons already, not almost 30 years later for the current shitty episodes.

I wish they would go back to how their first 6 seasons were, more about the people of South Park, each episode having a story about one of them, or some kind of drama in town. They don't even kill Kenny anymore, how lame is that. These recent seasons about current events and American political bullcr@p is so old, and having Trump was just irritating, as well as school PC principal is a 'sh!tty wok' character. Having a random episode here and there on current events is fine, but not all the time, which says the creators have long since took the easy way out and the big paycheck instead.

South Pork has become a bore where the characters aren't the same anymore. In one of the recent episodes they even mentioned about the people being unhappy of what South Pork has become, no kidding, although they obviously were being d!cks about it. It's become a pushy show. At least I can still enjoy revisiting the early seasons, praise Scott Tenorman hallelujah, and lick my salty chocolate balls, mkay!

Just my 2 cents and point of view... so screw you guys, I'm going home! :p

2902. An on the nose epi, Butters takes centre stage. The B-story with Butters parents brought on many laughs as well. The final scene definitely worth framing in.

how do we watch SP in SA? Is there a way without downloading it?
I just sail the seas like I always.

To answer your question, unsurprisingly, not straightfoward.

The official home is Paramount+

Paramount has now made South Park available on Paramount+ internationally, including the complete back catalogue and the new Season 29. Paramount's current page lists all 29 seasons, including the new episodes.

Season 29 is currently rolling out, and today (1 October 2026) is actually a new-episode day according to Paramount's listing.

🇿🇦 But here's the problem: South Africa

Paramount+ does not currently operate as a standalone streaming service in South Africa. So you can't simply subscribe to Paramount+ South Africa and watch it like someone in the US, Canada or Australia.

And this is where things get annoying: Paramount's international deal says Paramount+ is becoming the global home for South Park, but availability and release arrangements vary by territory.

For example, the official South Park announcement specifically says Season 29 is on Paramount+ globally, with next-day availability in the US, Canada and Australia.

So, for you in SA...

If your question is essentially:

"Can I legally watch every South Park episode, including the brand-new ones, without torrenting/streaming from dodgy sites?"

Yes in principle, through Paramount+, but there isn't currently a straightforward South African Paramount+ subscription route.
