Thoughts on Jose to Spurs?

Him and Levi? Can they get along? Will he be allowed to spend the Jose way?

January transfers? Any players you think will be leaving that can be snapped up?

Are Spurs now serious Title contenders?

Spurs made 110 million pound profit.Levy has to give Mo the money.

Mo's appointment adds another spark to the EPL, The top 4 race is back on. ( UTD fans look away)

Mo's Spurs wont lose 7-2 to Bayern. Poch did not have the balls to tell Levy to let Erikson, Rose et al to transfer out ( any reasonable price)

Top 5 or 6. Top 4 is already evident. Liverpool, Chelsea, City and Leicester.

Mo isn't special. He is wasteful and destructive.
He might hurt Tottenham trying to prove a point to keep his ego in tact

He's a win at all costs sorts. Win the league that is. Maybe Spurs feel he can turn them into serious contenders by grinding out results.

All costs except what? His pride? If he is given the keys to the bank, he will buy in a team tottenham will not be able t to sustain for further seasons(wage bills), lets be rational here, Tottenham have some good talent in their youth and in their current team that needs to be capitalized on a good coach will achieve the desired result, I do not think Mo will achieve this in a logical reasonable way.

He will attempt to spend to buy in supplementary players and favor the players he bought in over the talent that Tottenham have, but who knows - maybe the old dog has learned a more pragmatic way of managing a team

But maybe thats what they want - quick results and see if they can build from there. They have had too many "almosts". Mou will be glorious in the first 2 seasons - its after that, you worry and maybe they arent thinking further than that given his contract is till 2022

Guys you are jumping the gun...

"The problem is that sometimes you get into clubs where the work that is below you is not good enough to produce these players so I look to our history. The academy is always giving the talents that the first team need."

This is the history Tottenham had...
Notable players to come through the Tottenham Hotspur Academy include Ledley King, Glenn Hoddle, Peter Crouch, Stephen Carr, Nick Barmby, Ian Walker, and Sol Campbell all of whom have gone on to represent their country at international level. The Academy Manager is John McDermott.

Mou will not be given money to spend... so at most I see him being at Tottenham for 1.5 season. He will get Spurs back into top 4 then throw his toys with the **** defence, the players sleeping with each other's wives and the lack of funds Levy will give him to buy players

Spurs are in the position they are in - legitimate top-4 contenders and owners of an impressive new stadium - because of good business and that business included not throwing money at players.

For Mou to be successful he'll have to channel his FC Porto days and not his Chelsea and Madrid days.

I just can't see Mou joining Spurs without a prior commitment from Levy for funds to be available.

I'm interested about the Eriksen thing, If Mou can't persuade him to stay they have to sell him in January.
