Yes.

One thing one finds to be true is that when one looks for reviews which match one's own opinions, one will find them and feel vindicated. This is called confirmation bias.

The game is not perfect, but it's a good RPG game in that you really do determine the role you want to play and play it accordingly. There is also the looter/shooter aspect to the game.
I agree with certain aspects of his points. Nevertheless, he has merely engaged with the game for 18 hours and acknowledges that he has only begun to explore its depths. His critique largely resembles that of a young child upset about receiving a blue toy instead of a green one. If he desires purely a space exploration experience, he should consider sticking to Star Citizen.

I've played for approximately 20 hours until now. I haven't made any modifications or attempted to construct a ship. Outpost building hasn't been something I've delved into either. I haven't even begun to modify weapons or utilize the research lab, and so on. To accomplish the tasks mentioned above, you'll need to sink many hours into the game.

The game is not perfect, but Instead of watching every single review, just download the game (it's available on the high seas) and form your own opinion, instead of just trolling this thread with BS.

I agree, which I wish he would do, but since he hasn't even downloaded it, I think we can safely discard his drivel in favour of more interesting conversation.

I have the Razorleaf now. What an upgrade over the Frontier - definitely a recommended upgrade. Need to get me some shielded cargo so they don't just keep stealing my fancy goods.

So... who else has done the Red Mile and did you step into that ordeal while only being level 13 and down to 7 med packs like me?

I just got it but haven't ventured forth yet. But given I'm level 12 and have 4 med packs I think I'll stock up first :p

Main mission? Haven't done much there, still need to go back to Vectera to recruit Barrett and chat to that Freestar dude at the lodge.

Busy with the factional quests, just finished Vanguard and about to start the Crimson Fleet one. These factional quests are entire mini-games in themselves...

Thermal gear, med/trauma packs, AMPs... don't bother shooting, just run

My early start tomorrow looking likely to be interrupted by loadshedding. Just needs to improve to stage 4 at least

Main mission?

Faction quest.
Thing with this mission is that you potentially just got through another mission with killer robots and turrets that wiped your supplies, so you get your ass handed to you twice in a row if you are a lower level.
