Luke Stevens on YouTube takes a nice, sceptical approach to his reviews which are honestly the most balanced game reviews I've ever seen...

Bethesda RPG has to be reviewed 1 year in, when the thousands of modders have been through the thing. They take these games from 7/10 to 9/10s.
I reckon Skyrim was their best "base" game launch, very solid, but like the rest it got elevated to insane levels thanks to modding, happens with all their games and pretty amazing that other studios haven't been more open to modding to this degree.
Hell I think Rockstar just BOUGHT the team who made the RPG mod for multiplayer, there's huge potential in homebrew content and naturally makes these games "live service" without the originators barely having to lift a finger.

Yep yep yep, these games are more of a modding platform. If the Creation engine tools are more advanced and open than Skyrim's, this game will be a huge winner a year in or so. Nobody does modding like Bethesda communities., people build careers out of modding Creation engine, it's wild.
