The Starfield thread

New paint job... Green and gold.

Tried to upgrade as well but this specific ship is perfectly balanced.. any upgrades require additional upgrades elsewhere..which in turn require even more other upgrades.... And it's expensive. Had to abandon one big upgrade earlier due lack of credits. So will have to wait a longer.

Saw a mission on YouTube to visit an abandoned old space casino in orbit in another system for lots of money....hmmm.

NB Hint: make sure you join the Vanguard as soon as you can and take the museum tour.

I did quite a few quests before doing this and felt a bit disengaged from the plot. Like I'm just doing quests to get rewards and gear without caring much about the story.

The museum goes into all the lore from earth to present, and really brings the plot together. It feels great now to have some context behind the quests.

This really should have been a mandatory main mission instead of some activity hidden away in the activity log!
 
So last time I saw Berrett he was on fire running away from a street fight with security in Neon.

He is still listed as a crew member of the ship but I have not seen him since.

EDIT: ok he showed up again eventually and I had to apologise [for setting him on fire?].

Dafuq is this game :ROFL:

Took adoring fan on my mission on the Mantis moon. He can hold his own in a fight! But man, does he talk a lot!!!

For the Gamepass Ultimate guys, does Starfield support cloud saves?

I.e., if I play on Xbox and save my progress, can I pick up the same savegame on Gamepass PC and continue my game?

Will Starfield feature cross-platform progression?​

In case you were wondering, yes, Starfield does support cross-platform progression. The game is a Xbox Play Anywhere title, hence progression and game purchase will easily be transferable between console and Windows Store edition using your Xbox account.

That said, Cross-save does not work between Xbox and Steam versions.

Haha. I put my controller down to go grab a snack and accidentally shot Sarah. She disappeared and I went running around to find her and eventually gave up. Later found her standing on top of the train waiting for me...
