The Starfield thread

Is this on planet? If so, what I do is I ignore the dudes on the ground and board the ship first, then attack them when they follow me in. The ramp forms a choke point so they're easy to kill and even if they do fly off, you're on the ship so you can't still kill and steal it.
Did this yesterday with the Va'ruun, stole their ship and went to sell it. Registration cost around 14k, ship value was 972. This was not the profit I had imagined.
Yes on a planet. Wonder which department and in which planet we can complain to with regards to the ridiculous registration costs.

Won't spoil it for you but stop killing pirates until you do the crimson fleet factional quest for them. Otherwise you'll rack up a huge bounty which you won't have enough money to pay, which stops you from progressing that quest. You'll have to save up credits to pay the bounty first...

That's okay, I'll pay a bounty. They must stop landing on my planets :p

Achievements: bye

I am on console so no ~ for me, besides I wanna finish the game they way they designed it 1st but after that oooh gonna mod the crap out of it.

And yes I know I can cross save to enable commands.

Also back in the paper days, reviewers reviewed games based on their key focus.
Racing guys reviewed racing games and FPS guys reviewed shooting games. These days a "gamer" reviews all of them.

I mean I for one will give all turn-based games crap scores cause I like "action"

edit: Spelling

Yes, that is correct, I remember now.

My argument is basically we play games to "escape" reality or imagine something we never can experience for real. Drawing a fictitious boundary line on reality vs imaginary has to be made.

Getting upset cause someone moved the line one way or another is all on you, not the developer cause they had to draw it somewhere and making a slider to fit everyone is next to impossible.

Bethesda chose object persistence with world boundaries.
Star Citizen and NMS for that matter have immovable objects and/or items that reset the moment you leave the room.
Can't have both, our consoles/computers are not good enough.
Quick correction, Star Citizen has persistence at a server shard level (i.e. if you return to an area on a server shard you've been on, stuff you and others left lying around will be there). Moving towards full persistence alongside static and eventually dynamic server meshing.

I have been corrected...

Sooo my next question would be how many wheels of cheese in your ship will it take before the game crashes? :D

I am about 10 hours in , Skyrim and the likes of AC games , make you feel you live there .
Starfield feels distant .
Maybe it is the small worlds and loading screens , like jumping between mini games.

I dont notice the loading that much on Series X, but I can imagine it being a real problem if you had to wait for them on slower systems.

Man this game. Got distracted with a rescue mission last night, and when I was done I noticed it was 1:30am. Going to be busy with this a long time.
Dude... I stopped playing this morning at 6am when I got loadshed :( :D

Anyone using any mods? I'm using the Vortex Mod Manager from Nexus mods but the mods don't seem to be working, or at least not all of them. I think Neutral Luts is working, but Star UI isn't. Haven't used it before so I'm a little lost as to troubleshooting.
