Or why did Ster-Kinekor unbundle their gaming and other divisions under a new company?

It’s because they know this ship has sailed so now they rake in as much as they possibly still can from the idiots willing to pay until it falls over and then it doesn’t take the rest of their empires with it because it’s now a stand alone entity.

They’ve planned for all of this.

Or maybe they realise it would be a bit like Musica slashing prices of cd's and BluRays: Ultimately pointless when people no longer want to buy what you're selling. They just scraping profits from the few who are still willing to pay.
