Hey this thread has become more about Mcd than test-tube meat!

Anyway, back to reality. I want my test tube meat. Such a meat is grown in a controlled and monitored environment so no CJD or parasites or other pathogens. Lovely.

Wouldn't that, in effect, be cannibalism because at a very basic biological level, you're consuming a human being?

Kosher stuff is watched, so nothing different about it, the process is just observed to make sure that nothing is added.

I've no problem with stem cell research - as long as the cells were acquired ethically - so... bring the marinade.

Technically, yes. Reason being with BJ's the majority of people consuming the cells are female. With the burger, both sexes would consume it.

So yes, it is "more" cannibalistic
