Someone has designed and built the entire Top Gear TV studio… out of Lego
Jeremy, James, Richard, The Cool Wall, Jesus in the crowd. It’s all there
Well, this might just be the best thing you see on the internet today. A fellow Top Gear enthusiast called Nard Verbong has designed and built the entire TG TV studio… out of Lego pieces. All 5,362 of them. Sir, we salute you.
Because the attention to detail is incredible. Jeremy, James, Richard and The Stig are present and correct, of course. Same for the indestructible Toyota Hilux. The trio of DIY motorhomes. The Triumph Herald sailing boat. The Cool Wall. It’s all there.
Easter eggs you might not have spotted include Richard’s minifigure legs. Jesus in the crowd (if you know, you know). The DB9 sub-zero fridge. The V8 blender. We’re told it took between 45 to 50 man hours to design and build the 90x90cm studio.
Perfect for your living room table, we reckon. Because yes, Nard, who spends his time designing and building custom Lego cars – including several other Top Gear creations – has released instructions complete with a required parts list on how you can build it yourself.
