Great docu - stop being ripped off. Goji berries, green smoothies, mineral water, multi vitamins... etc..

I found the green smoothie / antioxidant point interesting... you spike your antioxidant level, then your body compensates by flushing out the excess and you end up with lower levels at the end of the flushing process... in other words, you're not doing yourself any favours lol.

Simple steps to good health. Cut out sugar, wheat, starch, processed foods and animal fat.

Why animal fat? Animal fat is good (unless its some gmo ****).

Eish, the ignorance....

There are no GMO animals yet.... at least apart from those that have been cross-bred to produce desirable characteristics.

They may get here one day.... but they are not at all widespread yet.

What is more likely is that you might be eating animals which are fed on GMO grain or agricultural products.
There is nothing wrong with that and they are perfectly safe to eat.
There has been no demonstrated harm to GMO fed animals displayed or manifested yet.
(And BTW your organic beef is also fed on pesticide laced grain - some of them stronger than GMO products)

Stop the scare-mongering and propagation of irrational and ignorant old wives tales.

I know you have a hard-on for GMOs Gary but you can't possibly think they come without serious side effects.

I don't specifically have a hard on for GMO's - but they have so far proven to be able to provide food for the planet.
Organic farming methods are just not hardy or resilient enough to feed nearly 8 Billion people.
What I do have a hard on for is Good Solid Science.

So do you have any good solid science to show that there are "serious side effects"?

I'm completely with Gary here. GMOs seem to be safe, so far. And animal fats are an important part of healthy and balanced human diet.

Healthy eating is overrated. Just get plenty of exercise, drink lots of water and alcohol until you forget.

there is a huge difference between healthy eating and eating products that are marketed as healthy

Saw it on BBC the other night. Quite interesting.
Amazing how the people flock to the latest craze without even doing their own bit of research.
I liked the breakfast test with the students and what fills/gives you energy more

GMO grain aside - feeding grain to cattle ****s up their lipid profile, and then yours in turn.

By nature animals are GMO, through natural selection.
Plants undergo natural selection too. All organisms do.

Even more important is that our livestock and crop plants are beyond just natural selection. We have used selective breeding in an effort to maximise their efficacy as food sources for centuries. Maybe millennia.
