Hi

I have a very percular problem with thetvdb.com

On my laptop I can access it no problem. On my desktop I can't access it at all. I can access any other page but not thetvdb.com so I can't use xbmc built-in scraper to scrape my TV Series. Anyone have any idea why this would happen?

Another question that that off xbmc video playback options...

Recently acquired two .mp4 720p videos that stutter video wise, i updated codec / drivers / tested 1080p films with no stutter.... Finally I enabled "Adjust display refresh rate to match video" option in XBMC and it played perfectly. When the film started it changed my display refresh rate to 24 from 60. What I want to know will changing the refresh rate all the time damage my tv?

try run ipconfig /flushdns from a command prompt. Windows might be caching a failed DNS lookup.

Have the same issue this morning when trying to scrape movies, i read somewhere that the server is being shared not shore how true that is, and that is putting a lot of strain on the server

I just gave up and eventually chose imbd to scrape my stuff with

tried the ipconfig command now... it didnt work.

Ya there was a problem with the servers but according to their forums it is back up. It still doesn't explain why I can access the site from my laptop but not from my desktop...
