Of course mate. Everywhere you look it's just "Barcelona" fans. Hey atleast I was supporting my own team /shrugs.

Barca is my second team so of course I would want them to beat Man U, Chelsea always comes first tho.

Thoroughly enjoyed last night's game. Manchester United initially contained Messi and Co deep into their half of the pitch. But as soon as Barca settled into a rhythm it was all one-way traffic bar a brilliant goal from Rooney...the momentum of which Manchester United didn't take advantage of.
I was expecting a closer game but glad Barca won so convincingly without the theatrics of their earlier wins against Real Madrid.

Yeah you beat them... then promtply got beaten 3-1 as well. So yes, what is the Spanish word for owned?

don't forget the ref helped barca out quite a bit in that tie - red card and some borderline offside calls - plus we were whiskers away from knocking 'em out over the 2 legs - 4-3 aggregate. 1 more, they'd been out.

that said, once man utd let barca settle and start to knock it about, they were opened at will. i think many players did not stick to plan - like evra - picking giggs in cm didnt help too much either.

hard luck tho, united have been consistent all season. epl is a tougher league than la liga imo - united probably dead tired too.

Kudos to both teams for an entertaining match for us neutrals.

I was a little bemused at Sir Alex's selection though. I've always been a fan of his but Giggs just looked old and tired imo and he seemed to get more frustrated as the game progressed. Chicarito (sp?) was completely isolated the whole game and Valencia spent more time fouling players than actually getting forward.

I was expecting to see Rooney up front on his own, Nani freely running at Barca's defense, Anderson and Fletcher harassing the Barca midfield and Scholes dictating play.


N.E.Way. . . The only team that beat Barca at their own game this season was Arsenal

I have to take my hat off to Man U. Even though they lost they kept their dignity intact unlike a certain Jose Mourinho's and his Real Madrid. They would have come up with all sorts of conspiracy theories instead of just admitting that Barca is miles ahead of EVERYBODY. Ferguson could be seen congratulating Pep with a genuine smile on his face. That's true sportsmanship right there.
