So I've downloaded the latest Haiku Alpha build. (R1/Alpha 4.1), got it running in Virtualbox.

Looks good so far, is very snappy and fast.

Still playing around with it, but want to put it down on bare metal.

Who else is also looking at Haiku?

Tried it last month on an old Core 2 Duo system. Looks like a nice OS but not much software available yet.

It's not gonna go anywhere. It's like waiting for the GNU kernel to become mainstream.

BeOS should have open sourced their code back in the day when they went under, it was a great OS at the time.
