The virtual PBX emerges

We've been using Clearvoice's hosted PABX for a few months now, and it's working well for us.

At around R80 per extension per month plus calls, it's flexible, cost effective and scalable. I'm not sure why anyone would use a physical PABX anymore (provided you've got the broadband connectivity).

Our next experiment will be trying a CellC Speedstick to replace our ADSL connection - that will bring costs down even more.

Another advertorial, yawn. "Have a look at the features that some hosted IP PBXs offer, it can just about run your business for you, and more!" - wtf? Isn't this supposed to be a tech site with tech articles and not a cheesy sales pitch. Keep the ads next to the articles.

Does this PBX allow for concurrent calls?and if so, how much bandwidth does it use per call? and what type of access medium does it use?

larger businesses pay only R30/ Extension.
