Surely subtitles could have accomplished the same thing? I hate watching in freaking b&w, don't care how artistic people think it looks...
 
Think they added the new black guy so they can get rid of the black chick. She started to annoy me with her psycho attitude.

But I loved the new episode!! Wonder if their gates will still be up in town when they get back to Alexandria. Doubt it. They'll need to travel and find a new home.
 
Pretty cool episode...bit tired of the themes though (something the graphic novels also did for me). There's only so much "Rick fighting for his soul" I can take...gets old.
 
The first episode confused me. Did I miss something because I didn't know what was going on?

And why was it in B&W??
 
The Walking Dead

Finally got around to watching 601 & to those few who said it was kuk it's best to lay off the holy herb.

601 was tops; way better than expected. Old school TWD thrills & suspense. New characters were on the lame side (token black guy) the B&W parts took some getting used to but the season opener was 66mins of pure intensity.

I actually rate this epi in my top 3 epi's of TWD to date.

Throughly looking forward to the rest of the season.

Shame; FTWD has nothing on the original & best.

Offtopic: Maybe I missed him but what happened to the gay dude from S5 (Aaron)?
 
Aaron is alive, he's casted as a season 6 regular. Now that you brought it up I also can't remember seeing him in the episode...
