The Walking Dead: World Beyond (TWD spin-off series)

So we all know TWD & FTWD. This is a thread to discuss the new spin-off series. I see 101 already dropped on the high seas.

Summary:

The series, set in Nebraska ten years after the zombie apocalypse, features four teenage protagonists and focuses on "the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.

Didn't watch it as yet but will today. Any takers?

Watched 101. Pretty hard to form an accurate opinion on just 1 episode but offhand this new spin-off is The Walking Dead for millenials, featuring some pretty bland characters.

I stopped watching TWD halfway through the Negan story arc. I found myself falling asleep during the episodes and pushing through them felt like work.

Any spin-off is a pass for me

Couldn't make it past 10 minutes.

Finished Fear The Walking Dead a month ago. Then decided to watch TWD again from the start as I never finished it. Finished it last night. Watched the first episode of World Beyond last night. Only watched 1 and 1/2 episodes, but it is irritating me. The characters irritate me, except for Felix who is pretty lekker to look at. The woman in it is just meh. I dont see a Carol or a Maggie evolving from this.

Started watching again. I don't know if I can get past the Latino sisters look. What is up with her hair? It looks like some kind of wit made out of horse hair. And the male characters are all weaklings. I appreciated Carol and Maggie from TWD...but these females seems to have been plonked into this series just to prove a point and the males downgraded to really meh weaklings. Should I push through???
