Here is one for you. . . . Are there any inverters in the Axpert range that are able to blend AC Power and how does the inverter accomplish this?
Yes, The Axpert combines at the level of an internal DC bus. The big plus side of the Axpert is that it can never accidentally export power to the utility, so you will never run into problems with meters tripping in situations (which are common in South Africa, it seems) where you’re not allowed to export even a single joule, and some meters can be sensitive about even tiny amounts of power.

The problem with Axpert's approach is that you must do a double conversion of AC power (AC to DC, then DC to AC again). This is always less efficient than zero conversion (AC input connects directly to AC output via relay). being exported.
