Don't you guys think this will make an epic film series? (I know there is a Polish film & tv series but Sapkowski is not impressed).

Don't give it to Hollywood (Never, as they will fsck it up!), give it to Euro studios.
Give Sapkowski full control over everything.
Give them a big mofo bufget.

And here is your Geralt of Rivia

I dunno man, i watched the original Polsk series "Die Wiedzmin" back when witcher1 came out and I rather enjoyed it...Michal Zebrowski also pulled off a decent Geralt.

Yes!

Hollywood will probably fsck it up. As is stands, we know Assassin's Creed and Warcraft movies will be out next year 2016 and I'm cautiously optimistic. Theres been talk of a Metal Gear movie but haven't heard anything solid on that front.

Look how they fscked the Resident Evil franchise . . . jeez!

In my opinion they should just leave games as it is.

I have not seen those yet but I'll try and find them to add to my DL list.

I'd be quite pleased with Mikkelsen as Geralt. Brilliant actor.

But yeah, the key thing is budget. It'll need to be big.

I dunno. I can't get over the fact that as Hannibal, he eats like a pig. Small things and all that.

Eats like a pig? Wut?

All right, not like a pig exactly. But he's got his elbows on the table or he's not holding his knife properly if he's using it at all, or he uses his fork like a spoon, or hunched over his food etc. Hannibal would not eat like that. He'd be impeccably mannered at all times, as Hopkins portrayed him.

I'm probably full of schit, but I read the books and bought into the whole backstory thing. Mikkelsen obviously doesn't know the history, and to me that's a mistake when he's playing such an important character.

As I say, probably just me :p

/sorry for the OT
