Yes ,Referral Networking = most powerful form of long term advertising.

Screw some customers over and word starts to spread and of course the other way round.

Studies indicate that generally People DONT ACT merely from advertising ,but a nod or frown from a friend gets the buy-in or buy-out.Thats how Amway does $40 billion a year turnover and has a AAA-credit rating (thats more than South Africa)-PURELY FROM "A-FRIEND-TELLS-A-FRIEND" etc etc etc etc etc ..........

MESSAGE TO SENTECH:
TV and BILLBOARD=LINEAR GROWTH..

Yep - I've also put about 20 people off getting Sentech and intend to go further with it !

I was chatting to a heavy weight IT guy rolling out some serious services for a large company and he had considered using Sentech until he heard by word of mouth how terrible the service is. I mentioned I was on MyWireless and he basically said, "So, how bad is it ?" - heh.

Once people like that start informing clients to stay away from it, well, the damage starts to get noticed !

Has anyone else posted bad referrals for sentech/ mywireless on the word of mouth site?
If we are to get these buggers to listen we need to spread the word as far as possible, hurt them by letting people know how bad they are. (Preaching to the converted I know).
You can post referrals (Good or bad) on www.wordofmouth.co.za - the more people that see these referrals on the site the better.

I think loosecannon said he recommended to around 300 of his customers (and counting) who enquired about getting mywireless for their businesses AWAY from Sentech

he can probably give you a rough figure

well when people ask me about MW I just tell them to come read through these forums to get a general idea of what customers are thinking and saying about the service.

Thinking about it... it was the iBurst forum that stopped me dead in my tracks in signing up with iBurst...

Hmmm the funny thing is I am still with Sentech... ah well... atleast I can post

myWireless 128, 64, 48, 16 - depends on its mood.

I just invite friends to try MyWireless out for themselves at my place. After experiencing the blistering international speeds [xx(] first hand, they either go for ADSL or stick with ISDN or dial-up. Not one has signed up after trying it out. Says something, doesn't it?

What it basically says is that Sentech will eventually go out of business of wasting HUGE sums of money and that iBurst are too stupid to learn a lesson from Sentech.

What are these people smoking ?
How DO they keep thier jobs ?

The mind boggles ! - boggle boggle.

It's a damn shame about iburst. hopefully they have some kind of plan to expand their bandwidth after they made a few rands of new subscribers. They need more bandwidth to supply that kind of speed without a cap, so basicaly just make some money until they have enough to expand. Or thats what I would have done! *shrug*

A Damn shame!
