With the failures in SOE - SAA, Eskom, Sanral, Post Office, etc, it is 100% sure that WOAN will be a failure costing taxpayers billions.

Why should taxpayers fund & build Cellular infrastructure?

Instead of taking our taxpayer money to build cellular network for rich cell companies (MTN, Cell-C, VodaCom, Telkom, etc)
DTPS should auction off the frequency and use the money to bail out #FeesMustFall.

Though I agree, let's not beat around the bush here.
The end goal of zanc is absolutely not the well being of the country or the people.
It's all about how much money they can stuff into their pockets while keeping the population dumbed down to continue doing what they're doing.

100%, and WOAN smells bad.

WOAN is like eTolls, cadre beneficiation scheme at the expense of taxpayers and consumers.

Q. Isn't SenTech a failed WOAN?

Google "SenTech + MyWireless"

Sentech was the first company in South Africa to roll out a third generation (3G) broadband wireless access network and is continually pioneering the provision of broadband data, converged voice and broadcasting signal distribution services. Its best-known brands are MyWireless, MyWireless Flexi, VMESH, Satellite Linking, VSTAR Internet, Broadcasting Signal Distribution Service, Business Television and Radio, Value Added Network Services, Vivid, MailLink, InStoreAd and MultiNet which bring Net-access, email and other value-adding services to consumers, micro-business and SMEs respectively.

Sentech is state-owned and is a fully commercial enterprise holding a number of licenses, including the Common Carrier license for broadcasting, and licenses for Multimedia and international Carrier of Carriers services. Sentech currently carries traffic for all three mobile operators in South Africa.
Google "SenTech + National Wireless Broadband Network (NWBN)" for more WOAN.
