If there are any bit of truth in the statement that Jacob Zuma and the State has been captured, then there is absolutely nothing that any person within the ANC can do about Zuma or the Guptas. Any person who turns against them will be sacrificed and state organs will be used to work that person out of government and out of the ANC. Where needed, into prison.

State capture is an ugly thing. While many South Africans speculate and laugh, thinking there is a constitution protecting them, with real state capture that constitution means nothing. It will be scraped or changed, with or without a majority to suit their needs. There is no way that Jacob Zuma or the state capturers will ever give up their positions.

So, let's hope the state capture is a nonsense story, else Jacob Zuma and his family will indeed rule South Africa forever.
