There is something wrong with my HDD & CPU

K so I just tried out the "House fan into the case" and it worked.. played a solid 30mins without any frame drops.. but of course it aint a proper solution :(

Thanks.. will play some later and post temps for when it freezes

How old is your GPU? If you have good case fans then you shouldn't have too much of an issue, perhaps your GPU's heatsink/fan needs a reseat with some thermal paste / new fan.

Here are my results during a freeze:http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr230/davidsch69/Capture-6.jpg

It peaked at 58C which isnt too high IMO.

I have just noticed that my intake fan on my has is not spinning.. probably why this problem started! Dunno how to get it to work:(

58C doesn't seem bad for the card, is 58 the max or just when it froze, the MAX is more important.

Which intake fan? On the chassis? If it's connected to a 12v molex plug and it's not spinning, it might be the fan. If it's connected directly to the motherboard, it might not spin when the motherboard deems the CPU is not warm enough for it to kick in.

Edit: Tick the 'log to file' and check what the max temp gets to when gaming.

It connected straight to the motherboard. And even if I set it to 100% in Speed Fan it still doesn't budge.. I know its powered as the LED's are on.

I have done that and will play again to see what it gets to!

Ok:
It gets to 73C. But why isnt my intake fan working?

EDIT 2: Now I feel like an idiot! My intake fan IS working... it just doesnt seem to be working properly. I can feel the air if I put my hand against the fan but even 5cm away I cant feel it.My outake fans are the same kind and they can be felt at least 30cm away!

73 is a bit high, my 8800GTX (ok it just died this weekend :p) would often get to 86 and hours and hours and apparently was the norm.

Can you plug the intake fan straight into a 12v molex connector? Your motherboard might not be turning it on, also check if your BIOS is set to control the fan speed, I normally tell my BIOS to always keep the fans on, ie: no fan control. Can't recall what the exact setting is called, and not sure if it's different on AMD.
