As everyone of u has noticed already, vodafone co.uk has revealed recently an upgrade software/firmware for certain types of mobile connection cards that can finally work under windows vista;)
I am personally based in Ireland/Dublin area, which should mean automatically going for 3G or even HSDPA signal...I am using huawei e22o, which is actually running thanks the new vodafone software version 9.1 - link here is http://www.business.vodafone.com/site/bus/public/enuk/p_software_tscs49.jsp - but here is the problem: how can it support my USB modem huawei e220, which will have upgrade software for vista very soon (according to vodafone co.uklink it should be available in march)...
my biggest problem is a missing capability of my huawei e220 to catch the 3G signal, I am running permanently on a GPRS signal, which offers extremely low download speeds:(
However, those of u who own huawei e620/e630/e618 or novatel u740/u630 and those of u who run under windows vista, might be OK from now, these data cards should be compatible.
Have a nice evening;)
