Thermaltake Tsunami Bad airflow

Hi guys this is a heads up ...

i have a Thermaltake Tsunami case

and i am having serious temp problems.

I have upgraded the exhaust fans in the case on an appempt to get the internal temp down.

i have also removed that gause filter ... and not really any difference.. my last test was top fully open the front face of the case and only then i had a 5-10DegC temp drop.

in my opinion that case is not worth for the ammount you pay for it ....

get some water cooling

aquagate mini or aquagate will sort your problems out

its very hot at the moment and if you only have a fan system you will struggle

i have liquid cooling and moved the radiator outside the case ....


my SLi card are right @ the bottom and they are the ones generating the heat .... maybe i should hook that into my Termaltake BigWater 745 system

get something that will cool the vga cards

at the moment all fans are sucking in hot air

just make sure its compatible with your current gpu's

just take the side of the case off till it cool down in the month or so

will give that a shot ...

my next step would be to add another CPU-water block outside the case and mount a peltier on it to cool the liquid ... and have and internal radiator to act as a heat-exchanger ....

but i am worried about condensation on the pipes .... any input to that ???

what is water cooling cooling at the moment?

north cpu and vga?

I have the thermaltake soprano, identical to the tsunamis layout, only the front is different.

Same overheating problems with graphics card, there is bugger all airflow at the bottom, installed a exhaust fan which didnt help to much.. So yesterday I bought a 12 inch box fan with i keep next to the open case. GPU temp dropped about 10 degrees

YOU HAVE TO TRY AND SUCK OUT THE HOT AIR IF YOUR BOX IS SEALED

if you dont your temp will be very high that why removing the casing helps alot

the hot air can escape

exhust fan is really important if you have a 12 cm fan at the back of your case by the cpu make sure its suck air out and not blowing it in
